The workplace
Swede Ship Yachtservice AB is a shipyard that carries out repairs on commercial coastal tonnage such as pilot boats, archipelago boats, the coast guard, road ferries etc.
The engine workshop is authorized by Volvo Penta and Scania, so these are the main engine brands that we work with, but our customers also have other makes.
About the job
The work is carried out on board boats located at the shipyard or in the immediate area.
As a ship repairer, you will work with the repair and service of boats, and become part of the repair group that is responsible for the work carried out at our slip and in the equipment hall.
As a ship repairer at Swede Ship Yachtservice, you will work with several experienced colleagues but also independently.
Competency requirements
We are looking for a driven ship repairer with a focus on welding aluminium, stainless steel and solid experience in pipework, shafts and propulsion, etc. If you hold licenses for various welding methods and materials, they are meritorious.
You will mainly repair and service various complex systems for our customers. This means everything from water, fuel and hydraulic systems to repairs of main engines, water jets etc. You need to be able to work independently and make your own decisions based on experience and knowledge.
B driving license is a requirement.
