Delivery of Rescue Mai Rassy

Today we have delivered our new build Rescue Mai Rassy to the Swedish Sea Rescue Society. The boat is 15 meters long and in a brand new class, the Hallberg Rassy class. After the takeover, the boat left the shipyard heading for Gothenburg. During the weekend, the boat will be driven to its home base at SSRS Käringön.

We thank you for your confidence in building this fantastic boat and wish it all the best in the future (and of course welcome back for service and care!)

The 19th rescue boat from Swede ship Marine

April 11th we delivered our 19th rescue vessel to Redningsselskapet, the Norwegian Rescue Society. This was the third vessel in the Idar Ulstein class. The vessel is 22 meters long, has a top speed of approximately 40 knots and is equipped with a towing winch, crane, IR camera, fire monitor pump and more. The boat is donated by Odd Fellow in Norway through a fund raising campaign.

Following the delivery is a comprehensive training program before the ship leaves for the name giving ceremony in Oslo and entering into service in the Norwegian waters.

We thank Redningsselskapet for your confidence in us and wish you the best of luck with your new ship!
